 Harlem Globetrotters Dec 31st The Harlem Globetrotters will be at the Nutter Center on Saturday, Dec 31st, and scouts and their families can get discount tickets, including a special patch. Please see Angela Shockley to order tickets.
 Ice Skating on Tuesday, Dec 29th Prepare yourself for a fun filled night of ice skating on Thursday, Dec 29th. We will meet at Riverscape from 6 – 8pm. Please return the attached form along with $4 per person to Lisa by December 20th. The fee includes skate rental and a patch. No uniforms required, so please dress warmly.
 Christmas Goodie Delivery December 24th We will deliver goodies to the Police and Fire Dept again this year on Christmas Eve at 10 am. We will meet in Class A’s at Harry Russell. Please see your den leader to sign up for goody donations and/or delivering.
 Christmas Carolling December 22n On Thursday, December 22nd we will be singing Christmas carols at Walnut Creek Nursing Home (5070 Lamme Rd). We will meet in our Class A’s at 6:15 pm. So, come on out and sing with us.
 Christmas Party – December 20th We will be having a Pack Christmas party on Tuesday, Dec 20th from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm. There will be fun activities and lots of yummy treats. Please wear your Class A’s.
 West Carrollton Holiday Festival December 3rd Pack 840 will have a table set up at the Civic Center from 2-6 pm. We will be selling popcorn pails, baked goods, and ornaments. If you would like to make ornaments and/or baked goods please get them to Lisa by Friday night. Cookies should be bagged in two’s and brownies or Rice Krispy squares (for example) should be cut into 3x3 squares. We appreciate any donations.
Military Care Packages For the November 29th pack meeting, we are once again making care packages to send to the troops overseas. We need lots of small boxes for these. The boxes from the microwave popcorn is a good size for packages with the popping tins in them. Click HERE for a list of items for den members to bring for the care packages (each boy should bring a few of the items - we do not expect any single person to do all of them).
Reminder For the November pack meeting (29th) the pack is having a professional photographer come in to take portraits of those boys who wish it. Please make sure everyone wears their Class A uniforms for this!

On Saturday, Nov 19th we will meet at Kil’n Time. The cost is $15 per person and this includes pizza, class and pottery. Kil’n Time is located off of Stroop Rd behind the Town and Country Shopping Plaza. Please return permission slip and money by October 25th. Class B's are required - you may get messy.
The cub committee meets every third thursday at Bethel Baptist Church (434 Wilson Park Drive) at 7:00 pm. This is open to all parents. The cub committee is where all the planning for the pack is done. Come and help us make a better program for your boys!
Dayton Bombers and Miami Valley Council present Scout Night on Saturday, November 5th at E.J. Nutter Center. The game
starts at 7pm. Tickets are $10 per person. All new scouts are free. We will meet there. Class A’s
 Tweaksters – Oct. 30th Join us at Victoria Theatres for the show “Tweaksters”. The show starts at 3:30pm and the cost is $13 per ticket. Permission slips and money is due October 4th to Angie Shockley. You may wear your class B’s.

their class A’s.
 Webelos Weekend – Oct. 21st-23rd Join us for a weekend of fun designed just for the webelos scouts. We will depart from Harry Russell at 4pm on Friday the 21st. Parents may come to this campout, but are not required. The cost is: $17 for each boy and $13 for adults. Payment is due by October 11th.

 Neighborhood Popcorn Sale – Oct. 9th On Sunday, October 9th between 3:00 – 4:30pm, we will be having a pack neighborhood popcorn sale. We will be selling popcorn door to door together as a pack in nearby neighborhoods. If you will be participating, please let your den leader know. We will meet at Harry Russell. Please wear class A’s.
 Scout Day at Kings Island – Oct. 8th This year scout day will be on Saturday, Oct. 8th. Permission slip and $23.50 for each person is due September 27th to Angie Schockley. We will not meet at the school for this event. You are encouraged to wear your class B’s.
 AutumnFest - Sept 30 - Oct 2 Our first campout of the school year will be at Woodland Trails. If you have signed up and paid for this campout, we will meet in the parking lot at Harry Russell at 4:00 pm. Class A shirts are required for travel to and from Woodland Trails. We will return on Sunday at approximately 12:00pm.
 Homecoming Parade – Sept. 29th We will be participating in the West Carrollton’s Homecoming Parade on Thursday, Sept. 29th. We will meet in front of Walter Shade ECC at 6:00pm. Please wear your Class A’s. |
