Cub Scouting is a great opportunity for boys. From camping to racing pinewood derby cars, we try to build character in our youth while having a great time.

School Closings

Just a reminder - if there is no school on the day a meeting is scheduled, then the meeting is cancelled. If the weather is bad, then check Channel 2 (WDTN) to see if the meetings are cancelled.

Important Notices

We need your help. Next year we have open leadership positions in the pack. Come help out with the boys.

• Popcorn “kernel” Assistant - Todd is looking for an assistant to help with the organization and collection of our annual popcorn sale.

• We are asking that no children be in the hallways unsupervised. This means that either a parent or leader must accompany them.
• Please plan to be in the cafeteria to pick up your son by 7:45. This way if his den finishes early we can dismiss him promptly. We will not allow the boys to meet their parents outside for safety reasons. While we would like all parents to stay for the den meetings, we understand that it is not always possible.
• For your child’s safety, children should not be outside before/after the meetings without an adult. Also, please be sure your child’s leader knows when you and your scout are leaving for the evening.
• We would love to see some of your pictures that you have taken at scout activities. Please consider sending them to our webmaster so that he can put them on our website: webmaster@cubpack840.org.
